Saturday October 29
1pm-10pm
As the first day of the festival, it’s only right that this will have the more traditional element of the beer festival which has made Pocktoberfest the success it is, but with the added bonus of various local musicians performing on two stages, providing music you can drink, chat and tap your foot to.
- NEO SOUL are our evening headliners whose Motown, soul and disco class make them hugely popular on the party circuit.
- THE HABITUAL DRUNKARDS - a mixed bag of folk, country, pop et al...
- TOM MORRIS AND ADAM WEIKERT – exciting mix of post-folk
- MILES CAIN – York-based musician, storyteller and writer
- TRISTAN CLOPET – see Sunday listing
Sunday October 30
2pm-11pm
We are really pleased to have attracted such an impressive music line-up to Pocklington and they will be providing top level music for your enjoyment throughout the day.
- BILLY BRAGG – without doubt, the Bard of Barking is one of the best known and best loved artists of his generation. Expect to be inspired.
- SETH LAKEMAN - widely regarded as the UK’s foremost folk singer songwriter, expect a captivating, energetic and undeniably compelling live show.
- HAYSEED DIXIE – proud to call themselves "A Hillbilly Tribute To AC/DC,". Not to be missed.
- THEA GILMORE – acclaimed British singer-songwriter, described as "the most prolific & intelligent songwriter of her generation".
- ahab – their gorgeous melodies have seen them cited as the best thing since Mumford & Sons
- 3 DAFT MONKEYS - one of the most popular - and certainly quirky - touring bands on the UK festival scene.
- TRISTAN CLOPET – Think a collaboration between Jeff Buckley, Graham Coxon and Anthony Kiedis and you'll get Tristan.
Of course, you want to know much more about everyone playing at Pocktoberfest so please have a look now at our dedicated performers page, 'The Music'. And as we countdown to Pocktoberfest Beer and Music Festival 2011 don’t forget – we’re fully committed to raising as much money for local charities as possible so we look forward to seeing you there!
