Pocktoberfest takes place in Pocklington, a vibrant market town on the edge of the Yorkshire Wolds.  

Specifically, the event is held in the Old Railway Station, which now provides home to Pocklington School Sports Hall.  Its very easy to find, located to the south of the town centre on Station Road, directly opposite the bus station.

Travelling by bus

If you travel to the festival by bus, you literally will be dropped off at the door.  Pocklington is served by the following routes (for more information please see www.eyms.co.uk):

  • X46/X47 - from York and Hull
  • 743/744 - from York and Bridlington
  • 746/747 - from York

Pocklington's nearest train stations are:

  • York - 14 miles
  • Driffield - 16 miles
