Cited as the best thing since Mumford & Sons - with their gorgeous melodies, soaring harmonies and masterful song-writing, ahab are destined for great things. The band were an instant hit at last year's Cropredy Festival and whilst there caught the ear and eye of Bob Harris who immediately booked them for a session on his Saturday night BBC Radio 2 show. Their music is best described as alt country folk rock with an indie-edginess. Their sound is fresh, lively and combines instrumental virtuosity and richly layered four-part vocal harmonies.
